Education Opportunities

The Brain Injury Association of Idaho provides a number of educational opportunities for persons with brain injury, their loved ones and professionals. Please contact our office at 208.342.0999 or 1.888.374.3447 for more information.

Brain Injury Basics:

Brain Injury Basics is the Association's cornerstone class. This program will define brain injury, discuss common side effects of brain injury, suggest ways for persons with brain injury to compensate for their injuries, and give tips about how to relate to a person who has sustained a brain injury. This introductory class is useful for both people living with brain injury and the people who serve them - from health care workers to school teachers.

The class is free to persons with brain injury and their family members. The registration fee for professionals is $20.

Brain Injury Basics for Professionals:

This 3 hour program will provide professionals with an introduction to the causes and residual effects of brain injury and the implications of brain injury on service delivery.
